Essa pesquisa compreende um estudo sobre a imaginação poética inspirada nas poesias de Antônio Francisco. O objetivo é investigar os devaneios poéticos que inspiram as suas poesias ao leitor de consciência imaginante. As poesias de Antônio Francisco são de forte crítica social. Entretanto, não se pode resumi-las somente a isso. Através de suas poesias é possível imaginar novas reflexões, novas ideias inspiradas no devaneio poético de quem ler através da consciência imaginante. As críticas ao progresso, aos valores humanos e à política são espaços construídos como diáfanos para o devaneio poético inspirado na imaginação e, dessa maneira, demonstram que a poesia de Antônio Francisco, como toda poesia bem elaborada, possui grande potência imaginativa.
