This two-volume set (CCIS 1137 and CCIS 1138) constitutes the proceedings of the Third International Conference on Cyberspace Data and Intelligence, Cyber DI 2019, and the International Conference on Cyber-Living, Cyber-Syndrome, and Cyber-Health, CyberLife 2019, held under the umbrella of the 2019 Cyberspace Congress, held in Beijing, China, in December 2019. The 64 full papers presented together with 18 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 160 submissions. The papers are grouped in the following topics: cyber data, information and knowledge; cyber and cyber-enabled intelligence; communication and computing; cyber philosophy, cyberlogic and cyber science; and cyber health and smart healthcare.

Discourse Analysis in Translation Studies
Discourse analytic approaches are central to translator training and translation analysis, but have been somewhat overlooked in recent translation studies. This volume sets out to rectify this marginalization. It considers the evolution of the use of discourse analysis in translation studies, presents current research from ten leading figures in the field and provides pointers for the future. Topics range from close textual analysis of cohesion, thematic structure and the interpersonal function to the effects of global English and the discourses of cyberspace. The inherent link between discourse and the construction of power is evident in many contributions that analyse institutional power and the linguistic resources which mark translator/interpreter positioning. A Comparative Study on the Translation of Detective Stories from a Systemic Functional Perspective
This book presents a corpus-based investigation of verbal projection in detective stories and their translations. Adopting both diachronic and synchronic approaches to compare two different Chinese translations, the book is one of the first attempts to conduct a comprehensive lexico-grammatical, logico-semantic and rhetorical, as well as contextual analysis of verbal projection in the Chinese context, especially the classical Chinese language context.
