I started writing the day my first grandchild was born. When I looked into his eyes I saw the generations off my family. It was then I realised that the reason my father could not help me to understand who or what I was. Quite simply I had no idea any more than my father before. That is what motivated me to write happiness is a recipe hard to find. It was in constructing this rime I discovered this hidden talent for stretching information with poetry. This book is an illustration of my story to reason for me and those I love what is life worthy, writing and sharing these and other poems have brought many rewards to my life we have great potential.

The thread linking these stories together is the fact that [the writers] all live in New Mexico. Some of the stories reflect this -[various titles]. Others are set on distant worlds or on earths so changed by time as to be almost unrecognizable. These stories speak of love and grief and loss and victory, but most of all they speak to that spark in all of us that defines us as human. The introductory essays by the contributors offer their views on why New Mexico is so attractive to writers of science fiction and fantasy, and will provide the reader with fascinating insights into the writers as individuals, perhaps shedding some light on the source of their inspiration.

A novel of the eternal battle between science and superstition I’m Richard Oort. I’m a cop. Two months ago I had learned there were unseen worlds on the borders of our reality. Because the horrors aren’t over. And they’ll use any human weakness they can get hold of. This is a fight for the world. For keeps.
