Teatro Breve do Século de Ouro
No final do século XVI e início do XVII na Espanha, período conhecido como o "Século de Ouro", um novo gênero teatral se configurava, saído das festas populares que lhe propiciavam ocasião e público. Um tipo de peça curta inicialmente limitado aos entreatos e finais de peças "sérias", o entremez. Com seu humor carnal, satírico e cru, visava sobretudo entreter.
