Prosiding ini memuat 70 makalah yang disajikan pada Seminar Nasional Inovasi Teknologi Peternakan 2022 dengan tema “Optimalisasi Integrated Farming System Berbasis Teknologi Peternakan dalam Menunjang Pemenuhan Protein Hewani di Era New Normal” yang dilaksanakan pada 19 November 2022 di Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara. Makalah yang dipublikasikan pada prosiding ini meliputi lima subtema, yakti (1) produksi, reproduksi, dan kesehatan ternak; (2) industri peternakan dan peternakan rakyat; (3) teknologi dan pascapanen hasil ternak; (4) peternakan dan lingkungan, dan (5) pengabdian kepada masyarakat di bidang peternakan.
Teknologi Biomarka Molekuler
Buku ini terdiri atas 7 bab. Dari Bab 1 sampai dengan Bab 3 diuraikan secara singkat tentang sejarah teknologi biomarka dan perkembangannya, keterkaitan antara keragaman genetik dan biomarka, serta pengukuran keragaman dalam suatu populasi. Pada Bab 4 diuraikan secara khusus tentang DNA barcode dan arti pentingnya dalam kehidupan. Pada Bab 5, secara detail dijelaskan prinsip dasar teknologi biomarka, meliputi ekstraksi DNA, uji kuantitas dan kualitas DNA, amplifikasi DNA dengan PCR, pemotongan DNA dengan enzim retriksi, desain primer, dan PCR (polymerase chain reaction). Pada Bab 6 dijelaskan aplikasi teknologi biomarka, meliputi teknologi MAS (marker assisted selection), teknik dasar MAS, serta aplikasi biomarka untuk sifat produksi dan ketahanan terhadap infeksi penyakit. Pada Bab 7 diuraikan beberapa strategi pemuliaan ternak berbasis biomarka.
Slavery and Empire in Central Asia
The Central Asian slave trade swept hundreds of thousands of Iranians, Russians, and others into slavery during the eighteenth–nineteenth centuries. Drawing on eyewitness accounts, autobiographies, and newly-uncovered interviews with slaves, this book offers an unprecedented window into slaves' lives and a penetrating examination of human trafficking. Slavery strained Central Asia's relations with Russia, England, and Iran, and would serve as a major justification for the Russian conquest of this region in the 1860s–70s. Challenging the consensus that the Russian Empire abolished slavery with these conquests, Eden uses these documents to reveal that it was the slaves themselves who brought about their own emancipation by fomenting the largest slave uprising in the region's history.

BIC 2021
The Proceedings of Batusangkar International Conference VI (BIC VI), that was organized by Graduate Program of IAIN Batusangkar, was held in hybrid platform on 11-12 October 2021 with the main theme " Strengthening Life Harmony in 4.0 Era". The BIC VI conference includes several interesting topics such as Science, Technology Literacy, Engineering, Law, Economy, Education, and Religion. The participants came from various universities and practitioners with a total of 140 papers that were published in a proceedings. It is expected that this proceedings will bring contribution and insight, resulting in new knowledge, inspirations, and collaborations. We are very grateful for their participation. We hope to meet you again in the next edition BIC VII or BICoSecH VII.
