Diante da inquietação com a aprendizagem dos alunos com deficiências, no tocante às práticas desenvolvidas em sala de aula e fundamentos teóricos para entender esse público-alvo, esta obra procura elucidar o currículo e o processo de ensino e aprendizagem da modalidade da educação especial. Através de um estudo de caso em duas escolas públicas de dois municípios da Baixada Fluminense/RJ, apresentamos modelos do Planejamento Educacional Individualizado (PEI) construídos a partir da teoria evidenciada. Percebemos, pois, que a aprendizagem é fonte de conhecimento e deve ser desenvolvida com propostas pedagógicas desafiadoras para a verdadeira inclusão desse alunado.

INTERDISCIPLINARIDADE
Os autores e autoras que aqui expõem suas pesquisas são, em sua maioria, oriundos do curso de Doutorado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Humanidades, Culturas e Artes, da Universidade do Grande Rio (UNIGRANRIO), sediada em Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense, do Rio de Janeiro, e suas concepções trazem marcas deste tempo/lugar em que vivem e convivem entre si e com a pesquisa científica, apesar de volverem seu olhar peculiar para as questões relativas à interdisciplinaridade, tendo em vista sua formação acadêmica-profissional ter se dado em campos de conhecimentos diferentes uns dos outros. Este é um grupo heterogêneo que se une com o objetivo de compor uma obra que esclareça que o saber e o conhecer não são movimentos isolados / fragmentados e que, por esse motivo, estando todos aprendendo a todo tempo na vida, é mister mostrar como estas aprendizagens acontecem, ainda que sob um ângulo exclusivo. As Relações Dos Professores Alfabetizadores Com O Saber Instituído Da Formação Continuada Do
Esta pesquisa questiona as relações entre as ações dos docentes alfabetizadores em sala de aula e a inserção do PNAIC como política pública de formação continuada para a garantia da escolarização na idade certa, especificamente no contexto de uma escola municipal de Nova Iguaçu/ RJ. Além de uma fundamentação teórica de excelência, a pesquisa revela a trajetória acadêmica e profissional dos sujeitos pesquisados, as suas impressões sobre o Programa e os impactos que ocorrem em suas práticas pedagógicas. Assim, apontam o PNAIC como um Programa necessário ao aprimoramento da prática docente e que as relações com esta política de formação continuada precisam ser cada vez mais de engajamento do professor com o ensino e de diálogo significativo entre saberes teóricos e conhecimentos da experiência docente. A pesquisa indica, ainda, a necessidade de mudanças balizadoras de investimento e valorização da educação inicial e continuada do alfabetizador.
