Research on the Cox family genealogy was begun by Rev. Simeon O. Coxe (1877-1955). Verl F. Weight (one of the many descendants of the Cox family) and Mrs. Charles W. Cox (Willie Miller) further researched, compiled and published the information into the first edition in mimeographed copies in 1962. When time took its toll on these copies and years of work began to fade away, Mary Carol Cox volunteered to retype and publish As A Tree Grows into a paperback book.

Nancy Richardson's poems concern the coming of age in the rust-belt of Ohio during a period of decay of the physical and political structures that made the region once solid and predictable. Her poems chart the shifting of the foundations upon which a life is built and the undpredictability of events that have had personal and political consequences, including the shootings at Kent State. These poems have resonance to the chaotic political and social circumstances in which we now find ourselves.

From the author of When Elephants Fly comes an exceptional new novel about falling down, risking everything and embracing what makes us unique. Don’t miss this compulsively readable novel about the most unlikely of heroes. Danger “Danny” Danielle Warren is no stranger to falling. After losing an eye in a childhood accident, she had to relearn her perception of movement and space. Now Danny keeps her head down, studies hard, and works to fulfill everyone else’s needs. She's certain that her mom’s bitterness and her TV star father’s absence are her fault. If only she were more—more athletic, charismatic, attractive—life would be perfect. When her dad calls with an offer to join him to film the next episode of his popular survivalist show, Danny jumps at the chance to prove she’s not the disappointment he left behind. Being on set with the hottest teen movie idol of the moment, Gus Price, should be the cherry on top. But when their small plane crashes in the Amazon, and a terrible secret is revealed, Danny must face the truth about the parent she worships and falling for Gus, and find her own inner strength and worth to light the way home.

Being Singular Plural

This book, by one of the most innovative and challenging contemporary thinkers, rethinks community and the very idea of the social. Nancy's fundamental argument is that being is always "being with," that "I" is not prior to "we," that existence is essentially co-existence.
