Proceedings of the 4th Asia Pacific Management Research Conference (APMRC 2022)
This is an open access book. It has been our great honor to welcome all the participants to the 4th Asia-Pacific Management Research Conference was held in Surabaya, Indonesia, on May 18th–20th, 2022 as a hybrid conference (virtualy conference). I recalled formulating the concept and conducting this conference with the Research Center and Case Clearing House (RC-CCH) Team back in 2017. The conference encourages fresh and impactful studies that address the latest issues and topics, particularly in economics, management, business, and accounting. The forum particularly welcomes the discussion and sharing among research fellows in a semi-formal academic setting. As we reach the fourth conference, we are confident that we will maintain a contribution to the global literature. It is undeniable that the theme of the COVID-19 Pandemic is the main issue of this fourth conference, but rather than focusing on the misery, we look for models, technologies, and concepts that are beneficial for the economy and businesses to grow toward the new normal. This conference received 136 abstracts, of which 57 were accepted articles in Atlantis Proceeding.

This work contains over 2,500 entries to guide students and scholars interested in the languages and literature of Vietnam. The books, monographs, and journal articles considered are those written in the Western languages (especially French and English). Eight years of immediate technical assistance activities strengthening emergency preparedness for HPAI in Viet Nam
The history of the battle to control HPAI in Viet Nam is relatively short but within the past 10 years there have been many insights developed, as well as some twists and turns in the road to the current level of success. As the concerted HPAI effort supported by FAO is coming to an end, albeit to be adapted into a broader One Health approach to animal health and zoonotic diseases, it was considered timely that a retrospective overview of the programme be produced to capture key elements and lessons that have arisen. Competing for Land, Mangroves and Marine Resources in Coastal Vietnam
This book presents a historical and ethnographic study of changing mangrove management in northern Vietnam over the past 100 years, grounded in a case study in the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam. The book shows that three primary socio-economic dynamics have affected mangroves: enclosure movements that have restricted access by different user communities over time, such as the exclusion of women; changing valuation of mangroves and their products and services; and social and class differentiation caused by privatization of once common resources. The result of these pressures have been erosions of norms, rules, and collective action to protect and nurture mangroves, leading to widespread loss of coastal forests. Sustainable mangrove management will require attention to these dynamics to address current-day land conflicts. The book will be of interest to policy-makers, practitioners, and academics and students in forest policy, management and governance; rural livelihoods; and globalization and agrarian change.
