Evolution of Private Law
Once again, we are pleased to present this book which is the result of the conference held in Katowice in 2022 and the effect of the international cooperation between the Research Group of the Commercial Law acting at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice and representatives of foreign university departments of private law from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine. The publication is the continuation of the international cooperation that began in 2014. The idea of the sixth collective publication was to analyze the directions of legislative changes in the field of private law in individual countries. In this edition, the entire publication consists of fourteen articles devoted to the issues of company law, commercial contract law, including the development contract, capital market issues, and bankruptcy law. This publication is dedicated primarily to civil and commercial law academics, but it also addresses the issues relevant to legal practice. The presented papers may, to a large extent, constitute material for comparative research.

This is a filmography of not only all of the English-language movies made during the 1960s that had a theatrical release but major foreign films exhibited in the United States as well. The films are listed alphabetically and the following information is provided for each: year of release, nation of origin if other than the United States, production/distribution company, black and white notation (if not in color), running time, genre, production credits, cast and characters, and a brief synopsis. This turbulent decade is unusually interesting in the history of cinema. Those films released in the early part of the decade were similar to those of the 1950s, but as the years passed, the offerings changed in many ways.

Muutoksia, rakkautta ja vaikeita päätöksiä. Helenan avioliitto Amin kanssa päättyy yllättäen, ja koko elämä menee sekaisin. Saadakseen itsensä ja arkensa taas kasaan, Helena lähtee Sveitsiin ystäviensä luokse. Maisemanvaihdos saa toivottavasti taas ajatukset selkenemään ja tulevaisuuden kirkkaammaksi. St. Morizin vilkas laskettelukeskus, hyväntuuliset ihmiset ja rento tunnelma tekevätkin Helenalle hyvää, ja iloa elämään alkaa jälleen löytyä. Mutta sitten kotoa Suomesta saapuu kirje, jota Helena ei osaa odottaa. Ami tahtoo yrittää uudelleen, aloittaa alusta. Helena on vaikeiden valintojen edessä. Voisiko kaikki mennä nyt toisin? Ja entä Jiri, uusi tuttavuus, jonka tummat piirteet pyörivät Helenan mielessä usein? Kannattaako vanhaan palata, jos tulevaisuudessa odottaa toinenkin vaihtoehto?
