SUPER PROBLEMS IN INORGANIC CHEMISTRY by PMS sir Super problems in Inorganic Chemistry has been conceived to meet the specific requirements of the students preparing for IIT-JEE, NEET, Olympiad and other competitive examinations. The best way to ensure that students understand the concepts of Inorganic chemistry is to solve as many problems on each topic. Students should attempt a variety of different problems, rather than spending too much time with the same problems again and again. Students should also ensure to read each problem carefully, since a small variation in the wording of a problem can make huge difference in its solution. The book has ample number of problems of different profiles to help students to get a grip on the subject quickly. The number of problems given in every exercise will definitely aid the purpose. Each chapter of this book has two exercise, except chapter 6 (Types of reaction).
In my experience of over 3 decades and exposure of closely dealing with hundreds of business owners, I have seen many Entrepreneurs start their business venture very enthusiastically and optimistically. They run from pillar to post to acquire every customer. They personally perform every job from procurement to collection. However, after tasting some initial success in the business, they get stagnated. They hit the ceiling. In spite of putting in their best efforts and time, they find themselves constrained to scale up to the next level. Puzzled, looking out for ways and means to expand, they wonder where is the problem? What’s stopping them? How to scale up from here? Why are they stuck? ...
Bioinorganic chemistry is primarily concerned with the role of metal atoms in biology and is a very active research field. However, even though such important structures of metalloenzymes are known, as the MoFeCo of nitrogenase, Cu or Mn superoxide dismutase and plastocyanin, the synthetic routes to the modelling of such centers remains a matter of acute scientific interest. Other metalloenzymes, such as the Mn center of the oxygen evolving complex of PSII, are still the focus of in-depth examination, both spectroscopic and structural. Another area of concern is the interaction between drugs and metals and metal ion antagonism. Understanding the chemistry of metal ions in biological systems will bring benefits in terms of understanding such problems as biomineralization and the production of advanced materials by micro-organisms. The 29 contributions to Bioinorganic Chemistry: An Inorganic Perspective of Life give an excellent summary of the state of the art in this field, covering areas from the NMR of paramagnetic molecules to the use of lanthanide porphyrins in artificial batteries.

The thyroid gland is a commonly diseased endocrine organ of human body. The disorders affecting the thyroid gland are varied but are very much amenable to treatment. The enlargement of the thyroid is termed goiter. It can affect the whole gland or only part of it. The disease is perplexing but in-depth knowledge of the pathophysiology helps in elucidating causes and thereby treating the disease. In this book, the diffuse and nodular goiter has been addressed as well as the functional abnormalities of the gland and its implications on the body are discussed in various chapters. The relevant updated information is included. To address a few of these current issues and recent updated information, authors have put in a lot of effort to organize the book.
