William D. Williams, parents unknown, was born in Tennessee about 1816. He married Nancy Joiner, parents not listed, on 5 May 1841 in Gibson County, Tennessee. They had 11 children. No death dates or place of deaths are known for William and Nancy. Their descendants have lived in Tennessee, Texas, Minnesota, Hawaii, and other areas in the United States.
Christ Church was established in 1695 and was the first Episcopal church in Philadelphia. For a number of years it served the entire Anglican community, and by 1760, when St. Peter's was split off from it, more than 10,000 baptisms and burials were recorded in its registers. These registers are intact from 1709, and the baptismal and burial records are abstracted in this work and arranged alphabetically by surname.

David Williams Cassat (1844-1921) was born in Staban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He moved to Emerson, Iowa in 1882 and married Lillian May Berryhill (1865-1959) in 1888. They lived in Woodbine and later Corning, Iowa. Descendants lived in Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, New York and elsewhere. Includes ancestors to the 1600's.
