Progress in Optomechatronic Technologies
Optomechatronics, as a fusion of optical and mechatronic engineering, have played a key role in developing innovative products such as high precision instruments, defence, photonic systems, measurements, diagnostics, semiconductors, and so on. And optomechatronics technologies have greatly contributed to the state of the art industries in optics design, manufacturing, optical imaging, metrology, and other applications. This book covers a multitude of optomechatronics advantages and solutions. Progress in Optomechatronic Technologies
This book gathers high-quality papers presented at the International Symposium on Optomechatronic Technology (ISOT 2018), which was organized by the International Society for Optomechatronics (ISOM) and Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO) in Cancun, Mexico on November 5–8, 2018. The respective papers address the evolution of optomechatronic devices and systems, and their implementation in problem-solving and various other applications. Moreover, they cover a broad range of topics at the interface of optical, mechanical and electrical technologies and methods.
Experimental Analysis of Nano and Engineering Materials and Structures
This volume contains two-page abstracts of the 482 papers presented at the latest conference on the subject, in Alexandroupolis, Greece. The accompanying CD contains the full length papers. The abstracts of the fifteen plenary lectures are included at the beginning of the book. The remaining 467 abstracts are arranged in 23 tracks and 28 special symposia/sessions with 225 and 242 abstracts, respectively. The papers of the tracks have been contributed from open call, while the papers of the symposia/sessions have been solicited by the respective organizers.

Reconstruction of Specular Reflective Surfaces Using Auto-Calibrating Deflectometry
This thesis discusses deflectometry as a reconstruction method for highly reflecting surfaces. It focuses on deflectometry alone and does not use other reconstruction techniques to supplement with additional data. It explains the measurement process and principle and provides a crash course into an efficient mathematical representation of the principles involved. Using this, it reformulates existing three-dimensional reconstructing methods, expands upon them and develops new ones.
Light Field Imaging for Deflectometry
Optical measurement methods are becoming increasingly important for high-precision production of components and quality assurance. The increasing demand can be met by modern imaging systems with advanced optics, such as light field cameras. This work explores their use in the deflectometric measurement of specular surfaces. It presents improvements in phase unwrapping and calibration techniques, enabling high surface reconstruction accuracies using only a single monocular light field camera.
