My Forefathers
The earliest proven ancestor, Elisha R. Hogle (1806-1900), possibly the son of Peter Hogle and Rebecca Hiliker, was born at Vermont and died in Marshalltown, Iowa. He married (1) Almira Bryant (d. 1842) 1835 at Monroe County, N.Y. She died at Oakland Co., Michigan. He married (2) Louisa Frances Kennedy (1836-1905) 1863 at Marshalltown, Iowa. She was born in Haywood Co., Tennessee.

The Hogle Genealogy
Descendants of Elisha Hogle (1772-1848), son of the earliest recorded ancestor, Johannes Hogle (b. ca. 1740/45). He was born in New Jersey and died in Middlebury, Wyoming Co., N.Y. He married Susannah Little/Littell (1775-1844), daughter of Andrew Little/Littell and Elizabeth Runion/Runyons. Descendants live in New York, Minnesota, Maryland, Florida and elsewhere.
