El presente trabajo intenta aproximarse a la tipografía en forma clara y sencilla, desde un lenguaje sin pretensiones, fortaleciendo el vínculo entre la letra, su entorno y el lector, quien descubrirá entre estas páginas parte del saber y funcionamiento tipográfico. Las metodologías que hacen a los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en tipografía juegan un rol importante. El objetivo es presentar y analizar ciertas consideraciones básicas y significativas en torno a la tipografía, a través de un relato práctico y coloquial, que no intenta ser un análisis histórico ni un manual tipográfico. Algunos de los ejemplos que ilustran los temas actúan como simples referencias a lo complejo de cada caso. Desde la tipografía muchos son los caminos y las respuestas que se pueden elaborar ante cada requerimiento, pero cada etapa debe sustentarse en el verdadero y profundo conocimiento del universo tipográfico. Y es aquí donde este libro se propone trabajar, desde otra mirada, para ampliar la información, como intrínseca necesidad a los efectos del saber.
