Islam in Kashmir
Part I of this book deals briefly with the history of Islam and Part II describes the unique way of advent of Islam in Kashmir starting with the arrival of two Sahabis (companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAWS) in Kashmir in Prophets time on their way to China along the Silk Route and subsequent arrivals of saints and Sayids resulting in to the mass conversion of people to Islam.
My Reflections
The book covers the monthly musings of the author from the year 2011 to 2015 that got manifest as write-ups in the daily Greater Kashmir, the daily Rising Kashmir, the daily Kashmir Images, selected extracts from some of the publications of the author, some selected extracts from the blogs of the author etc. These are topics of general interest and set up a new trend in book formatting.
Awlya-i-Kashmir
The book comprises of three sections. Part one deals with the introduction of Islam in Kashmir right from the time of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) followed by Sufi saints starting from 7th Hijri causing mass conversion voluntarily on getting impressed by the behaviour of the saints who lived a life of austerity. Part 2nd deals with the translation of a 150 year old hand-written Persian poetry manuscript translated in to English, describing the wonderful miracles performed by the Sufi saints of the area. Part 3rd deals with the biographies of the saints mentioned in part 2 with their spiritual and family lineages and copies of some age old manuscripts with bibilography at the end. The book makes great revelations of the past years which is bound to make interesting reading for all people.
Tuhfa Ashrafiah
The book was written in Persian language by the author Abul Hasan Kubravi lately translated in to Urdu language by Dr. Sayida Ruqaya HOD Persian Deptt. University of Kashmir and subsequently translated in to English by Sayid Ashraf Shah for the benefit of English readers. The book contains the biographies of the saints with their spiritual lineages. The book has been dedicated by the author to the great spiritual saint Shaikh Ashraf Fatehkadli known as Asha Baba to people.
My Recollections
The book covers the incidents in the life of the author from his childhood till date, spanning about eight decades. These incidents were recalled during his stay in UAE in 2014 and were subsequently update to present date 2021 at Srinagar. Many of the incidents were hair-raising witnessing narrow escape from death. It is bound to make an interesting reading for all sections of people.

The book forming Part I, covers various write-ups on current events etc. that appeared in various dailies, my blog and papers presented in various forums till 2015. This will be followed by Part II and Part III covering the periods thereafter.

The book covers the interesting extracts from the authors publications, write ups in dailies, FB posts, blogs etc, coverinng a period of over three decades.
My Story
The book contains the author's life history from his birth in 1942 to the present date. It covers the incidents in his life which made deep impressions in his mind and were recollected in his stay at Abu Dhabi in2015 and later brought up to date at Srinagar in 2021. It covers some of the hair-raising incidents in his life when he had a narrow escape from death.It contains about 300 rare photographs pertaining to uis life events.
Hizbul Bahar
The book covers the supplication with miraculous background, which was received divinely by him, when he got disappointed as his vessel could not sail from Cairo to Arab coast due to unfavourable wind direction for a week. The author had a dream when Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) taught him the supplication and on reciting this the wind blew in the right direction. The Arabic supplication authored by Shaikh Sharf-ud-din Al-Shadhli of Egypt 715 AH is presented in English and compiled for the benefit of English readers.
