Account of the life and death of Seth Warner, one of the early immigrants into the New Hampshire Grants which ultimately became the State of Vermont. Includes his role as leader of a troop of Green Mountain Boys, his participation in the ill-fated American attempt to capture Canada in 1775-76 and his subsequent performance as colonel of a continental regiment in the battles of Hubbardon and Bennington during the Revolutionary War.
