Making Decisions Under Stress
Ten years ago, a fateful intersection of technology risk, and split second decisions claimed 290 lives when the USS VICENNES mistakenly shot down a commercial airliner over the Persian Gulf. In the aftermath of this tragedy, a revolutionary applied research programme known as TADMUS (Tactical Decision Making Under Stress) was launched.
