This new book contains the proceedings of the 4th Geoenvironmental Engineering Conference, organised by the British Geotechnical Association and Cardiff University’s School of Engineering, held in Stratford-Upon-Avon in June 2004. On March 7, 1965, voting rights demonstrators were brutally beaten as they crossed the Edmund Petis bridge in Selma, Alabama.
