Blessed us with, on the left, and the creek on the right. Songs, I come to the garden alone, while the due is still on the *Roses, and the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God! Discloses. He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own, and the joy we share, as we terry there, none other has ever known: Song, His eye is on the sparrow, and He watches over me:

The North Carolina Filmography
In recent years North Carolina has been recognized as a popular filming location for feature films and television series such as Last of the Mohicans and Dawson’s Creek. Few people, probably, realize that the first feature film in the state was shot in 1912. This comprehensive reference book provides a complete listing of every film, documentary, short, television program, newsreel, and promotional video in which at least some part was filmed in North Carolina, through the year 2000. People and Things from the Blount County, Alabama Southern Democrat 1934 - 1938
The Southern Democrat was established by Forney G. Stephens at Blountsville in 1894. After fellow newspaperman Lawrence H. Mathews of the Blount County News-Dispatch died in 1896, Stephens moved the Democrat to Oneonta. When the News-Dispatch folded in 1903, the Democrat was the preeminent Blount County newspaper. Stephens died in 1939, but the Democrat continued to publish in Oneonta for almost 100 years. In 1989 the old Southern Democrat was renamed the Blount Countain. Microfilm for the old Southern Democrat was acquired from the State Archives in Montgomery and studied page by page. Every mention of births, marriages, deaths, obituaries and news important to the history and development of Blount County was reproduced here. This book is vital for any serious student of Blount County, Alabama genealogy and history.
