The Donald Family
William Cooper Donald (born 1816), a son of Alexander Donald and Mary Laird, was born in Scotland. He married Agnes Bain Smart (born 1821), a daughter of William Smart and Jean Johnston, in 1839. They had two daughters before emigrating to the United States in 1844. The family history ends at this point.
