Accompanying requires the cultivation of pastoral guideposts from Pope Francis' Amoris Laetitia, Bowlby's secure attachment, Tolstoy's self-giving love, Ricouer's empathetic conversation, and Saint Pope John Paul II's gradualness. God is the source of interactivity in accompanying and He included it when He created the first man and woman. Jesus Christ is the determinative exemplar of interactivity in accompanying.
