Buku ini mampu menumbuhkembangkan minat apresiatif terhadap karya sastra dan memberikan banyak teladan bagi masyarakat umum dan dunia pendidikan pada khususnya Dengan demikian siswa dapat lebih sungguh-sungguh dan kerja keras dalam dalam belajar agar siswa berhasil dalam meraih cita-cita, seperti yang tertulis dalam novel Negeri 5 Menara, yaitu Man Jadda Wajada. Begitu pula bagi para pendidik pengkajian terhadap karya sastra novel melalui pendekatan psikologi sastra dapat dikembangkan dalam pola pengajaran apresiasi karya sastra kepada peserta didik. Dalam hal ini patokan pengajaran bukan hanya pada aspek kogninif saja melainkan juga pada aspek afektif, dan psikomotoriknya. Ini dapat dicapai dengan peran pendidik yang tidak hanya menyampaikan kaidah pemahaman psikologi, tetapi juga pada aspek nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam karya sastra tersebut. Artinya, pendidik juga menggugah kesadaran peserta didik sebagai manusia dengan memberikan gambaran keteladanan dari nilainilai edukatif cerita sastra tersebut
