It presents research articles and review papers on geology of the North Africa and Arabian Middle East . It provides information to the public on various fields of earth sciences and encourages further research in this field in order to attract an international audience.
Petrogenesis and Exploration of the Earth’s Interior
This edited volume is based on the best papers accepted for presentation during the 1st Springer Conference of the Arabian Journal of Geosciences (CAJG-1), Tunisia 2018. The book is of interest to all researchers in the fields of Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology and Volcanology. The Earth's interior is a source of heat, which makes our planet unique. This source regulates the formation and evolution of rocks at larger scales, and of minerals and sediments toward smaller scales. From Geoheritage to Geoparks
This unique book is dedicated to helping promote geoheritage, geoconservation, and geoparks in Africa and the Middle East. Local, regional, global and thematic case studies including a geoheritage toolkit are used to illustrate the scope and depth of geoheritage and highlight some current geoparks and aspiring candidates in Africa, the Middle East, China , Europe,and Australia. This special issue mainly consists of the proceedings of the First International Conference on Geoparks in Africa and Middle East (FICGAME) held in, El Jadida, Morocco in 2011. The conference, hosted by the Faculty of Sciences of Chouaib Doukkali University, was organized by the African Geoparks Network and the African Association of Women in Geosciences incollaboration with the UNESCO Cairo Office.

Lithospheric Architecture and Precambrian Geology of the Hoggar and Adjacent Areas
This book presents the latest advances in mapping the geological structures and modeling the geodynamical and petrological processes in the Hoggar shield and adjacent areas of the northeast West African Craton, which is home to the oldest rocks in Algeria. Its respective chapters discuss the structural geology, geophysical methods, igneous processes, metamorphic petrology, and metallogeny. The mapping and modeling are conducted based on satellite data and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Hence, the mapping ranges from continental to crystalline scale; the ages range from 3.2 Ga to the recent Cenozoic. The various types of software used are commercial and open source (partially developed by the authors). Gathering papers by respected experts in the methods applied and the Algerian Precambrian domain, the book offers a valuable reference guide to (1) various mapping and modeling methodologies and (2) the geological and geophysical description of the Hoggar shield and the northeast West African Craton.
