Dolayısıyla Evrim Teorisi etrafındaki tartışma, büyük ölçüde Yaratıcı’nın varlığına inanıp inanmama tartışmasıdır. Evrim fikri her ne kadar bir fikir olarak yaratılışa inananlarca otomatik bir reddiyeye mevzu olmasa da, Evrim Teorisi’nin kendisi “ateist – yaratışa inanmayan” bir mahiyete sahiptir.
