Graph-Theoretic Concepts in Computer Science
This volume contains contributions to the 17th International workshop on Graph-Theoretic Concepts in Computer Science (WG '91) held in Southern Bavaria in June 1991. These annual workshops are designed to bring together researchers using graph-theoretic methods to discuss new developments relating to or emerging from a diversity of application fields. The topics covered in this volume include: tree-related problems, graph grammarsand rewriting, complexity, computational geometry, parallel algorithms, vertex orderings, path-oriented algorithms, applications to VLSI, and disjoint cycle problems.
Algorithms and Complexity
The papers in this volume were presented at the Fourth Italian Conference on Algorithms and Complexity (CIAC 2000). The conference took place on March 1-3, 2000, in Rome (Italy), at the conference center of the University of Rome \La Sapienza". This conference was born in 1990 as a national meeting to be held every three years for Italian researchers in algorithms, data structures, complexity, and parallel and distributed computing. Analysis and Enumeration
In this work we plan to revise the main techniques for enumeration algorithms and to show four examples of enumeration algorithms that can be applied to efficiently deal with some biological problems modelled by using biological networks: enumerating central and peripheral nodes of a network, enumerating stories, enumerating paths or cycles, and enumerating bubbles. Notice that the corresponding computational problems we define are of more general interest and our results hold in the case of arbitrary graphs. Algorithms for Sensor Systems
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 6th International Workshop on Algorithms for Sensor Systems, Wireless Ad Hoc Networks, and Autonomous Mobile Entities, ALGOSENSORS 2010, held in Bordeaux, France, in July 2010. The 15 full papers and two brief announcements were carefully reviewed and selected from 31 submissions. The workshop aimed at bringing together research contributions related to diverse algorithmic and complexity-theoretic aspects of wireless sensor networks. In 2010 the focus was extended to comprise also contributions about related types of networks such as ad hoc wireless networks, mobile networks, radio networks and distributed systems of robots.
Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science 2015
