Frontiers in Software Engineering Education
This book constitutes invited papers from the Second International Workshop on Frontiers in Software Engineering Education, FISEE 2023, which took place at the Château de Villebrumier, France, during January 23-25, 2023. The Editorial and the 8 papers included in this volume were considerably enhanced after the conference and during two different peer-review phases. Rigorous Development of Complex Fault-Tolerant Systems
This book brings together 19 papers focusing on the application of rigorous design techniques to the development of fault-tolerant, software-based systems. It is an outcome of the REFT 2005 Workshop on Rigorous Engineering of Fault-Tolerant Systems held in conjunction with the Formal Methods 2005 conference at Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, in July 2005.
Frontiers in Software Engineering Education
This book constitutes invited papers from the First International Workshop on Frontiers in Software Engineering Education, FISEE 2019, which took place during November 11-13, 2019, at the Château de Villebrumier, France. The 25 papers included in this volume were considerably enhanced after the conference and during two different peer-review phases. Software Engineering of Fault Tolerant Systems
When architecting dependable systems, fault tolerance is required to improve the overall system robustness. Many studies have been proposed, but the solutions are usually commissioned late during the design and implementation phases of the software life-cycle (e.g., Java and Windows NT exception handling), thus reducing the error recovery effectiveness.
