This book collects select papers presented at the 7th International Arab Conference on Mathematics and Computations (IACMC 2022), held from 11–13 May 2022, at Zarqa University, Zarqa, Jordan. These papers discuss a new direction for mathematical sciences. Researchers, professionals and educators will be exposed to research results contributed by worldwide scholars in fundamental and advanced interdisciplinary mathematical research such as differential equations, dynamical systems, matrix analysis, numerical methods and mathematical modelling. The vision of this book is to establish prototypes in completed, current and future mathematical and applied sciences research from advanced and developing countries. The book is intended to make an intellectual contribution to the theory and practice of mathematics. This proceedings would connect scientists in this part of the world to the international level.
This book is a collection of invited and reviewed chapters on state-of-the-art developments in interdisciplinary mathematics. The book discusses recent developments in the fields of theoretical and applied mathematics, covering areas of interest to mathematicians, scientists, engineers, industrialists, researchers, faculty, and students. Readers will be exposed to topics chosen from a wide range of areas including differential equations, integral reforms, operational calculus, numerical analysis, fluid mechanics, and computer science. The aim of the book is to provide brief and reliably expressed research topics that will enable those new or not aware of mathematical sciences in this part of...
Industry 4.0 technologies identified as the main contributor to the digitalization era. New technology delivers optimal outputs by utilization of effective resource. Therefore, smart technologies that has inventive and creative objects became critical to enterprise; recent studies shows that its led enterprises business such as SMEs to considerable investments, which many organizations over the world attempt to use innovative technologies such as IoT and AI, these technologies have potential on sustainable business models. In addition to that, innovation usage in business models led to significant benefits towards sustainability concept in SMEs marketplace. Furthermore, Sustainability object...
This book presents a thoughtful compilation of chapters derived from the proceedings of the 8th International Arab Conference on Mathematics and Computations (IACMC 2023), held at Zarqa University in Zarqa, Jordan, from 10–12 May 2023. Encompassing a broad spectrum of themes crucial to contemporary research and development, the book delved into subjects ranging from partial and differential equations to fractional calculus, from probability and statistics to graph theory, and from approximation theory to nonlinear dynamics. Moreover, it explores pivotal areas such as numerical analysis and methods, as well as fostering interdisciplinary mathematical research initiatives. Building upon the ...
This book provides comprehensive information on the conceptual basis of wavelet theory and it applications. Maintaining an essential balance between mathematical rigour and the practical applications of wavelet theory, the book is closely linked to the wavelet MATLAB toolbox, which is accompanied, wherever applicable, by relevant MATLAB codes. The book is divided into four parts, the first of which is devoted to the mathematical foundations. The second part offers a basic introduction to wavelets. The third part discusses wavelet-based numerical methods for differential equations, while the last part highlights applications of wavelets in other fields. The book is ideally suited as a text for undergraduate and graduate students of mathematics and engineering.
This book is intended to serve as introductory and reference material for the application of integral transforms to a range of common mathematical problems. It has its im mediate origin in lecture notes prepared for senior level courses at the Australian National University, although I owe a great deal to my colleague Barry Ninham, a matter to which I refer below. In preparing the notes for publication as a book, I have added a considerable amount of material ad- tional to the lecture notes, with the intention of making the book more useful, particularly to the graduate student - volved in the solution of mathematical problems in the physi cal, chemical, engineering and related sciences. Any book is necessarily a statement of the author's viewpoint, and involves a number of compromises. My prime consideration has been to produce a work whose scope is selective rather than encyclopedic; consequently there are many facets of the subject which have been omitted--in not a few cases after a preliminary draft was written--because I v believe that their inclusion would make the book too long.
This monograph provides a comprehensive overview of the author's work on the fields of fractional calculus and waves in linear viscoelastic media, which includes his pioneering contributions on the applications of special functions of the Mittag-Leffler and Wright types. It is intended to serve as a general introduction to the above-mentioned areas of mathematical modeling. The explanations in the book are detailed enough to capture the interest of the curious reader, and complete enough to provide the necessary background material needed to delve further into the subject and explore the research literature given in the huge general bibliography. This book is likely to be of interest to applied scientists and engineers./a
This book provides a primary resource in basic fixed-point theorems due to Banach, Brouwer, Schauder and Tarski and their applications. Key topics covered include Sharkovsky’s theorem on periodic points, Thron’s results on the convergence of certain real iterates, Shield’s common fixed theorem for a commuting family of analytic functions and Bergweiler’s existence theorem on fixed points of the composition of certain meromorphic functions with transcendental entire functions. Generalizations of Tarski’s theorem by Merrifield and Stein and Abian’s proof of the equivalence of Bourbaki–Zermelo fixed-point theorem and the Axiom of Choice are described in the setting of posets. A de...
In this book, we study theoretical and practical aspects of computing methods for mathematical modelling of nonlinear systems. A number of computing techniques are considered, such as methods of operator approximation with any given accuracy; operator interpolation techniques including a non-Lagrange interpolation; methods of system representation subject to constraints associated with concepts of causality, memory and stationarity; methods of system representation with an accuracy that is the best within a given class of models; methods of covariance matrix estimation;methods for low-rank matrix approximations; hybrid methods based on a combination of iterative procedures and best operator ...
