Woods etc. is Alice Oswald's third collection of poems, and follows the success of her widely acclaimed river-poem Dart, which was awarded the T. S. Eliot Prize in 2002. Extending the concerns of Dart and written over a period of several years, these poems combine abrupt honesty with an exuberant rhetorical confidence, at times recalling the oral and anonymous tradition with which they share such affinity.

Alice beyond Wonderland explores the ubiquitous power of Lewis Carroll’s imagined world. Including work by some of the most prominent contemporary scholars in the field of Lewis Carroll studies, all introduced by Karoline Leach’s edgy foreword, Alice beyond Wonderland considers the literary, imaginative, and cultural influences of Carroll’s 19th-century story on the high-tech, postindustrial cultural space of the twenty-first century. The scholars in this volume attempt to move beyond the sexually charged permutations of the "Carroll myth," the image of an introverted man fumbling into literary immortality through his love for a prepubescent Alice. Contributions include an essay comparing Dantean and Carrollian underworlds, one investigating child characters as double agents in untamed lands, one placing Wonderland within the geometrical and algebraic “fourth dimension,” one investigating the visual and verbal interplay of hand imagery, and one exploring the influence of Japanese translations of Alice on the Gothic-Lolita subculture of neo-Victorian enthusiasts. Agnes Boulton's memoir of her first two years of marriage to Eugene O'Neill was published in 1958, two years after the premiere of O'Neill's masterpiece, Long Day's Journey into Night. Contemporary critics dismissed the book as impressionistic, and it received little popular attention. Now held as a classic depicting one woman's strivings for self-representation, this new edition restores two sections previously excised for now-obsolete legal reasons. The new text features corrected misspellings and the addition of footnotes to clarify reference points and correct errors. Boulton's memoir represents an important addition to women's literature, as well as literary biography and autobiography.
