En el marco del congreso Concepciones y prácticas educativas en el Nivel Inicial y en la Formación Docente, que se desarrolló en el Instituto Superior del Profesorado de Educación Inicial Sara C. de Eccleston de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires en octubre de 2017, docentes, especialistas e investigadores han compartido sus saberes y reflexiones. Algunos de ellos giran en torno a la inclusión educativa; la construcción de identidades interculturales; el trabajo con la memoria y los derechos; el miedo al contacto con niños y niñas en las instituciones, por temor de muchos maestros a ser acusados de abuso. Otros textos profundizan en cuestiones referidas a la formación de docentes: la situación de práctica; experiencias interesantes como la inclusión del programa de Filosofía para Niños; el trabajo con fuentes en Ciencias Sociales, o la cuestión de la ética. A Grammar of Abui
This work contains the first comprehensive description of Abui, a language of the Trans New Guinea family spoken approximately by 16,000 speakers in the central part of the Alor Island in Eastern Indonesia. The description focuses on the northern dialect of Abui as spoken in the village Takalelang. This study is based on primary data collected by the author on Alor. With Pantar island, Alor Island is the western-most area where Papuan languages are spoken. Abui syntax is characterized by rigid head-final word order. The language presents a number of typologically interesting features such as semantic alignment. Characteristic for Abui is the extensive use of generic verbs. Generic verbs appear as parts of complex verbs or in serial verb constructions. This grammar covers the phonology, morphology and basic syntax of Abui. The appendix contains several Abui texts and word lists. Not being written against any particular theoretical background, this book is of interest to scholars of both Papuan and Austronesian languages, as well as linguistic typology.
Vermeer and the Delft School
Walter Liedtke, curator of European paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, has assembled a splendid catalog of Vermeer and his artistic milieu. Seven lengthy, well-illustrated chapters (Liedtke wrote five, Dutch art historians Michiel Plomp and Marten Jan Bok wrote the others) describe life in the city of Delft; the painters Carel Fabritius, Leonart Bramer, and others who preceded Vermeer; the careers of Vermeer and De Hooch; the making of drawings and prints in 17th-century Delft; and the collecting of art in the same period.
