Trends in Singularities
The collection of papers in this volume represents recent advances in the under standing of the geometry and topology of singularities. The book covers a broad range of topics which are in the focus of contemporary singularity theory. Its idea emerged during two Singularities workshops held at the University of Lille (USTL) in 1999 and 2000. Due to the breadth of singularity theory, a single volume can hardly give the complete picture of today's progress. Singularities and Complex Geometry
This book presents the proceedings of the joint U.S.-China Seminar on Singularity and Complex Geometry held at the Institute of Mathematics of the Chinese Academy, Beijing, in June 1994. This was the first gathering of Chinese and American mathematicians working in these fields (several Japanese mathematicians also took part). The volume covers a wide range of problems in areas such as CR-manifolds, value distribution theory of holomorphic curves, topology of the complements of algebraic plane curves with singularities and arrangements, topology of non-isolated singularities, gauge theory on resolutions of simple singularities, and residues of foliations. The articles give accounts of research in these fast developing areas. Much of the material appears here for the first time in print. Titles in this series are co-published with International Press, Cambridge, MA, USA.
Local and Global Methods in Algebraic Geometry
This volume contains the proceedings of the conference Local and Global Methods in Algebraic Geometry, held from May 12–15, 2016, at the University of Illinois at Chicago, in honor of Lawrence Ein's 60th birthday. The articles cover a broad range of topics in algebraic geometry and related fields, including birational geometry and moduli theory, analytic and positive characteristic methods, geometry of surfaces, singularity theory, hyper-Kähler geometry, rational points, and rational curves.

Configuration Spaces
These proceedings contain the contributions of some of the participants in the "intensive research period" held at the De Giorgi Research Center in Pisa, during the period May-June 2010. The central theme of this research period was the study of configuration spaces from various points of view. This topic originated from the intersection of several classical theories: Braid groups and related topics, configurations of vectors (of great importance in Lie theory and representation theory), arrangements of hyperplanes and of subspaces, combinatorics, singularity theory. Recently, however, configuration spaces have acquired independent interest and indeed the contributions in this volume go far beyond the above subjects, making it attractive to a large audience of mathematicians.
