"I like you a lot", these seemingly simple words take different forms based on the gender that uses them. A boy utters these words to a girl as a symbol of love. But, if the same were articulated by a girl to a boy, even God would be in a state of misconception. “From Single to Committed” is my debut novel that is based on such delusions I came across in my life. The story starts with my frivolous experiences in college with friends, followed by the resolutions we have made to overcome our misapprehensions. If God himself couldn’t find a picture-perfect meaning, how is it possible for me to find out the exact meaning behind “I like you a lot”? These five words are the solitary reason behind yet another software professional turned into a novelist.
