Few-body Problems
This volume consists of two review articles. E Hadjimichael's contribution, 'The Nuclear Three-Body Systems', concentrates on recent experimental and theoretical progress achieved in the field. Together with a pedagogical survey of the theoretical framework extensive discussion on the 3N system in the continuum and reactions of electromagnetic probes with 3N systems are provided. 'Four-Nucleon Transfer Reactions' by W Oelert reviews many aspects of α-particle transfer studies. A careful and balanced presentation of both theory and experiment is given. Reasonable agreement between the two is observed. Both reviews contain copious reference lists.
The Descendants of George Spear who Settled at Braintree, Massachusetts, 1642-1988
George Spear (b.ca. 1613) immigrated about 1642 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, and settled at Braintree (now Quincy), Massachusetts in 1644. In his old age he moved to New Dartmouth (now Pemaquid), Maine, where his third wife had property; this would have been after 1678, when his second wife died. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, South Dakota, California and elsewhere.

Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems, Living Machines 2022, held as virtual event, in July 19–22, 2022. The conference was held virtually due to the COVID-19 crisis. The 30 full papers and 8 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions.
