Algebra and Analysis Gateway to Modern Technology (AAGMT-2013)
To commemorate the completion of 125 years of the great Mathematician Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan, which was also celebrated as National Mathematics Year, the Department organised a two-day National Seminar titled 'Algebra and Analysis—Gateway to Modern Technology' on 29th and 30th of January 2013. The seminar focused on the vital role of Algebra and Analysis in technological development and industry.
Smart Trends in Information Technology and Computer Communications
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First International Conference on Smart Trends in Information Technology and Computer Communications, SmartCom 2016, held in Jaipur, India, in August 2016. The Kalamkari Industry Of Masulipatam
Kalamkari means. 'pen work' done on grey cloth using natural dyestuffs portraying motifs of flowers, birds and animals. In ancient India Town of Masulipatam on the Coromandel Coast was home for this wonder fabric, which became popular in the Orient as well as the Occident. The British people were using this imported cloth so vastly that the British Parliament had to pass THE CALICO ACT in order to protect their native weaving.
Adhesive Joints
This volume documents the proceedings of the International Symposium on Adhesive Joints: Formation, Characteristics and Testing held under the auspices of the Division of Polymer Mater ials:Science and Engineering of the American Chemical Society in Kansas City, MO, September 12-17, 1982. There is a myriad of applications (ranging from aerospace to surgery) where adhesives are used to join different materials, and concomitantly the understanding of the behavior of adhesive joints becomes very important. There are many factors which can influence the behavior of adhesive joints, e.g., substrate preparation, in terfacial aspects, joint design, mode of stress, external environ ment, etc., and in order to understand the joint behavior in a holistic manner, one must take due cognizance of all these germane factors. So this symposium was planned to address not only how to make acceptable bonds but their characterization, durability and testing were also accorded due consideration.
