This Festschrift volume, pubished in honor of Ugo Montanari on the occasion of his 65th birthday, contains 43 papers, written by friends and colleagues, all leading scientists in their own right, who congregated at a celebratory symposium held on June 12, 2008, in Pisa. The volume consists of seven sections, six of which are dedicated to the main research areas to which Ugo Montanari has contributed: Graph Transformation; Constraint and Logic Programming; Software Engineering; Concurrency; Models of Computation; and Software Verification. Each of these six sections starts with an introductory paper giving an account of Ugo Montanari’s contribution to the area and describing the papers in the section. The final section consists of a number of papers giving a laudation of Ugo Montanari’s numerous achievements.
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 37th IFIP WG 6.1 International Conference on Formal Techniques for Distributed Objects, Components, and Systems, FORTE 2017, held in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in June 2017, as part of the 12th International Federated Conference on Distributed Computing Techniques, DisCoTec 2017. The 13 revised full papers presented together with 3 short and 1 tool papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions. The papers present a wide range of topics on distributed computing models and formal specification, testing, and verification methods.

In recent years, the Anglo-Italian sphere of artistic exchange in relation to painting has been an increasingly productive area of research. Here, contributors shift the focus onto the two countries' equally significant sculpture trade. This volume of selected essays by economic and social historians and historians of material culture and art investigates the varied roles and functions of sculpture and the ways in which this particular cultural exchange was manifested. Issues of business and the markets for sculpture are highlighted, both in the context of producers of "high"art and in the wider market of religious, garden and decorative sculpture.
