This is a book specialized to introduce stars, including the environment, origin, evolution and vanishes of stars. To attract teenagers, personified words such as born, grow, die etc. were used. In fact, this book is a serious scientific book. Everything is based on facts and observation data, and according to some scientific laws, a lot of interesting results were deduced. References were referred in related parts for further reading. In cases of imagines from the authors, words like guess, possible and hypothesis were used. Readers can think and ask “why is it?” If it is not, what it will be then? Indeed, there were too many interesting things. At the same time, too many things were not clear and need to be known by us. This book wishes to attract more people, especially teenagers to pay attention to these shining stars.

The subject of this book is to seriously research on astrophysics based on physical theory. Knowledge of theoretical mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, electrodynamics including special relativity and quantum mechanics is required. This book is suitable for graduate student of theoretical physics. Tens years work of the author was introduced. They can be separated to three scopes: cosmology, origin of stars and stellar evolution.

We try to use popular terms to introduce research results of modern science. First we will narrate some necessary fundamental knowledge; then we will introduce some realistic observed astronomical results; then we will present the standard model; at last we will introduce some research work and opinions of the author.In this book, only a few mathematics were introduced to enhance the confidence of the reader on the opinions illustrated. Readers can totally skip all the mathematical formulas to understand all the content. Of course, it is far from enough for readers willing to do intensive study. To compensate for this, some reference books were listed in related part. Interested readers can read related references.
