Mythos und Postmoderne
Die Beiträge dieses Bandes beleuchten Prozesse und Transformationen mythischer Frauenfiguren und der Mythoswerdung realhistorischer Frauen in zeitgenössischen Texten und identitätspolitischen Diskursen. Der Fokus der Beiträge liegt also auf den individuellen Arbeiten am Mythos (in Anlehnung an Hans Blumenberg), die ausgewählte Autor:innen in ihren Dramen, Gedichten, Romanen und Filmen vollführen – der Zuschreibung von Agency, der Beigabe einer Stimme für vormals Subalterne, der Politisierung bestimmter mythischer Sujets, der Juxtaposition unterschiedlicher Figuren zu einer neumythischen Projektionsfigur. Außerdem rückt der Band die Frage in den Blick, in welchem Verhältnis diese De-, Re- und Entmythifizierungen in der Postmoderne zu einem sich beständig wandelnden kulturellen Gedächtnis stehen.
Scholarly Digital Editions as Interfaces
Interfaces are important elements of digital scholarly editions as they allow and direct the interaction of users with the online content and they facilitate the access to and exchange of data and information. Some interfaces are created for the human user (GUI), others for machine interaction and data exchange (API). Both aspects of interfaces and their roles in digital scholarly editing were discussed at a conference in 2016 organised by the Centre for Information Modelling at the University of Graz and the Digital Scholarly Editions Initial Training Network DiXiT. This volume includes a range of papers presented at the conference that highlight the diverse views and approaches towards interfaces in the digital scholarly editing community.

[Vol. 1] represents a complete revision and a consolidation into one alphabet of biographical material which originally appeared in four separate quarterly issues of Contemporary authors, volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4, published in 1962 and 1963. The revised material is down to date, in most cases, through spring, 1967.

Der Band geht von störungstheoretischen Überlegungen aus und zeigt, inwieweit die Corona-Pandemie zu einem Störfall mit grenzüberschreitenden Wirkungen geworden ist. Die Pandemie betrifft in globaler Perspektive sämtliche Teilsysteme von Gesellschaft und hat entsprechende Reaktionen ausgelöst. Die Beiträge fragen danach, in welcher Weise u. a. Politik und Medien in der entstandenen Ausnahmesituation agieren. Nicht zuletzt geht es um die Rolle, die Kunst und Literatur bei der Auseinandersetzung mit einem Störfall wie der Pandemie spielen. The volume starts from disruption theory considerations and shows to what extent the Corona pandemic has become a disruptive event with transboundary effects. From a global perspective, the pandemic affects all subsystems of society and has triggered corresponding reactions. The contributions ask in what way politics and the media, among others, are acting in the exceptional situation that has arisen.
