Como resultado, las condiciones de posibilidad para lo común son pocas; los discursos de enemistad entre miembros de la comunidad abundan; se hacen más populares los ideales individuales y una disposición inmunitaria en contra del otro, visto como un síntoma o como parte una enfermedad; se consolidan relaciones horizontales para nada extrañas en muchos contextos más pacíficos, se hacen extrañas en los lugares donde la guerra fue la cotidianidad; a menudo las propuestas de cambios de sectores ideológicos diversos se juzgan como torpes, poco técnicas o imposibles.
