Forest Tales
Before the stories - "Transformations" and "More Terrible Than Chains," the events of one chakat family, their relatives and their friends were recounted in a series of stories told by or to Forestwalker, the family historian. These stories became known as the "Forest Tales." In them you will earn about their lives and customs, loves and hates, friends and enemies. Above all, you will find out what it's like for non-human species in a human world. These are the early stories based in the Chakat Universe. From these stories, the greater body of works grew in number and complexity, but it all started here in these tales.
Flight of the Star Phoenix
Martin Yote has a dream to be a starship captain and owner of his own interstellar shipping business. To do so, he refurbishes a former Star Corps vessel and renames it Phoenix. He gathers an assortment of morphs and aliens to crew it, each with their own unusual background.They start off with high hopes and great prospects, but it isn't long before trouble finds them, and the crew is put to the test. The dangers are very real, and lives are at stake as well as fortunes.However, those are not the only problems Yote must face. Transformations
These poem-stories are a strange retelling of seventeen Grimms fairy tales, including "Snow White," "Rumpelstiltskin," "Rapunzel," "The Twelve Dancing Princesses," "The Frog Prince," and "Red Riding Hood." Astonishingly, they are as wholly personal as Anne Sexton's most intimate poems. "Her metaphoric strength has never been greater -- really funny, among other things, a dark, dark laughter" (C.K. Transformations
Dale Perkins, a male human, changed by an accident into a chakat, a hermaphrodite felitaur, struggles to come to terms with a new body, new sensations, and a new sexuality. In doing so, shi learns more about hirself, hir new species, and how they fit into the mixed human and anthro society.

Furry Tales
Tales featuring anthropomorphic animals have been around as long as there have been storytellers to spin them, from Aesop's Fables to Reynard the Fox to Alice in Wonderland. The genre really took off following the explosion of furry fandom in the 21st century, with talking animals featuring in everything from science fiction to fantasy to LGBTQ coming-out stories.
