En este número de Concilium, destacados autores exploran el anhelo de paz y su intersección con la fe. El reciente conflicto en Ucrania marca un punto de inflexión, desafiando la estabilidad europea y cuestionando el orden internacional. Creation - Transformation - Theology
The social and cultural challenges posed by the increasing threat to creation (climate change, destruction of biodiversity, etc.) are the starting point for new philosophical-ethical and theological reflections on the relationship between God, human beings and the world, as presented in this volume. God's creative impulse, which transforms anew, is at work in the actions of human beings and challenges us, in view of the threat to the "house of life" earth, to go new ways that make a common and good life possible. Creation and transformation are interrelated; an ecological theology of creation and practice of sustainability to be developed in the European context is to be embedded in the horizon of a global, liberating theology. Enfoques contextuales de la Biblia
La interpretación de la Biblia es tan antigua como la existencia de la propia Biblia. El enfoque contextual de la Biblia ha cobrado cada vez más importancia, siendo el texto bíblico interpretado por los lectores desde el contexto de sus realidades, ya que no podemos pensar en Dios y en la humanidad por separado. Política, teología y poder
Los sistemas políticos determinan la relación entre la teología y la política, y producen diferentes conceptos de poder. Los aspectos políticos de la teología y el papel de la teología en la política son múltiples y a menudo ambivalentes. Por lo tanto, este número reúne perspectivas y contextos muy diferentes -políticos, regionales, confesionales y de diferentes disciplinas teológicas-, que contrastan entre sí y que suscitan, intencionadamente, tensiones. Los cristianos son actores centrales. Como parte de la sociedad civil, dan forma al poder político; y es tarea de la teología captar y reflexionar sobre esta práctica. Las muy diversas contribuciones de este número coinciden en la suposición de que esta práctica política, que resulta de la fe, debe ser una práctica liberadora que no solo ve y tiene en cuenta el sufrimiento de los más desfavorecidos, sino que se trata de reducir el sufrimiento y trabajar por una mayor justicia.
La encarnación en una era poshumana
La difuminación de los límites entre la humanidad, la tecnología y la naturaleza crea profundos interrogantes para la ontología y la antropología teológica, incluso cuando esos anhelos de trascendencia reavivan la imaginación religiosa y teológica. Para muchos, el énfasis en la tecnología y la información compromete la comprensión cristiana de la encarnación y la teología de la encarnación que se deriva de ella. Otros ven una oportunidad para un compromiso más complejo para las imaginaciones teológicas y religiosas.
