Jean Baptiste Vadenay, son of Pierre Rémi Vadenay and Louise Moirie, was born in Paris. He married Marie Anne Mousseau 27 July 1723 in Québec. They had three known sons, Antoine, Joseph and Louis. Focuses on the descendants of their great-grandson, Emmanuel Vadenais (1783-1854). Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Québec, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Minnesota. Their surname has many variant spellings including Vadenais and Vadner. Includes Godet, Haas and related families.
