Beware of false prophets! And if you're a lost soul, never seek refuge in this particular sanctuary. For Treneir Stevens, fleeing her own personal nightmare, the hardest thing to find within these celestial walls is 'the truth.' Murder is but a fleeting thought to the corrupt leaders, who prey upon the innocent. Propelled by their insatiable greed and lust, they present themselves as 'redeemers', while their 'soul' purpose is to take all they can using the 'Word of God' to cover their heinous acts. When private investigator Jarret Richards steps on the scene, his plan to expose the cult is nearly foiled by his love for Trenier. Only Sister Nanna has the foresight to call on a 'higher power.' For nothing will save the threesome, other than a heavenly 'miracle'. As the minutes tick away, Jarret has to pull out all the stops if he hopes to keep Trenier from being the next Blood Offering.

Although the glamour of Hollywood lures bold and confident actors from around the world, it can also crush the unprepared, ripping chunks of pride from their souls and ejecting them back to their hometowns. Matt Redcrop and Kayla Ross are struggling performing artists and lovers who have the odds stacked against them. With their sights set on Hollywood, they have been sharpening their skills under the tutelage of one of the toughest acting coaches in America, Shelley Isaacson of Tampa. When they realize they are no longer happy being on the fringes of fame, Matt and Kayla make the move to Hollywood with another couple from the workshop. As they become immersed in the roller coaster of emotions that accompany auditions and rejections, each is eventually led to a future they had never considered. I NEED; I WANT is the story of young couple learning about life under the spotlights, their search for balance between ambition and expectation, and the price of fame.

ABOUT THE BOOK "Pereginations of an Inquisitive Mind" In writing this book, I have addressed events that occurred in the past, my perspective of our current society here in the United states at this moment of time and have also focused on the future in terms of how Mankind will be able to travel to the nearest Galaxies. I have described the past in terms of stories I heard concerning the sojourn of the Ropp family in Shelby County, Indiana. I have done this because I believe that readers will be interested in the farming society of the 1880's and early 1900's. My presentation is meant to show how life in the farming community of that time occurred and was conducted. This lifestyle was preval...

Finding ancient Egyptian scrolls is a dream for many archaeologists and historians. But none of them would think of looking for them in Kenya. Thirty years ago, that’s what happened. Nineteen ancient Egyptian scrolls were discovered on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. Why were they there? They were three thousand miles out of place. Who brought them there? The archaeologists who found them had no answers. It took Dr. Mira Qasim and her team to finally decipher the scrolls and find the answers. “These scrolls weren’t Egyptian,” she said. “They’re actually Nubian – from about 2,700 years ago, the time of Egypt’s 25th Dynasty when Nubia was a far larger empire than we knew.” Dr. Qasim’s findings had opened a window on a legendary land with a name that still resonates today as a term of endearment and empowerment; a recognition of courage and poise – Nubia. “What I found was Nubia’s story as told by an orphan child named Kano,” Dr. Kasim said. “He found his way to the core of Nubia, and grew to become an essential part of its rise to empire. I can’t wait to share Kano’s story with you.”
