Marguerite Duras
Born in a northern suburb of Saigon in 1914, Marguerite Duras became one of the most prolific and analyzed figures in 20th-century French literature and film. Vivien Leigh
Just to say the name Vivien Leigh invokes two quick images to anyone familiar with motion pictures--Scarlett O'Hara and Blanche DuBois. Yet, Vivien Leigh did not want to be remembered wholly for her screen performances in Gone with the Wind and A Streetcar Named Desire. Arthur Bliss
Sir Arthur Bliss was one of England's most renowned twentieth-century composers. This bio-bibliography provides a brief biography prepared with the assistance of the composer's widow. Donald Windham
Bruce Kellner worked directly from the collection of often-overlooked novelist Donald Windham to produce this reference work.
