Waste to Food
This book focuses on the search for possibilities of valuable food waste transformation directly to food, by introducing the 'Waste-to-Food Concept' . It goes beyond conventional technologies of food waste transformation into compost and organic fertilisers (downgrading the value of food waste biomass). It focuses on novel processing technologies and bio-transformation methods to food grade biomass. Food waste biomass of non-food grade quality can be used for high-value components extraction and as a carbon and nitrogen source for specific algae and insect cultivation. The discussed methods are complex and contradictive with multiple legal, socio-economic, environmental and nutritional issues. Therefore, this book thoroughly focuses on analysing these issues, and searching for viable ways to proceed, such as eco-design and application of Artificial Intelligence algorithms as solutions for the complex Waste-to-Food system.

The growing interest in the history of Indonesia has made it desirable to have an English summary of the principal works of the Dutch historian Dr H. J. de Graaf, who in several books and articles published between 1935 and 1973 has given a description of the development of the Javanese kingdom of Mataram, based both on European and in digenous material. His works form a substantial contribution to the study of the national history of Indonesia. The Summary contains references to the paragraphs of the Dutch books and articles. This makes it easy for those readers who have a know ledge of Dutch to consult the original texts. The List of Sources for the study of Javanese history from 1500 to 1700 is composed of the lists in the summarized books and articles, and the Index of Names refers not only to the present Summary but also to the eight original texts. Many names of persons and localities in the Index have been provided with short explanatory notes and references to other lemmata as a quick way to give some provisional information on Javanese history.

Early Modern Catalogues of Imaginary Books
For this bilingual (English-French) anthology of early modern fictitious catalogues, selections were made from a multitude of texts, from the genre’s beginnings (Rabelais’s satirical catalogue of the Library of St.-Victor (1532)) to its French and Dutch specimens from around 1700. In thirteen chapters, written by specialists in the field, diverse texts containing fictitious booklists are presented and contextualized. Several of these texts are well known (by authors such as Fischart, Doni, and Le Noble), others – undeservedly – are less known, or even unrecorded. The anthology is preceded by a literary historical and theoretical introduction addressing the parodic and satirical aspects of the genre, and its relationship to other genres: theatre, novel, and pamphlet.
