This book discusses one increasingly important issue in the VLSI design: low power. It covers the following topics: (a) basic concepts of low-power design, (b) low-power design methods and applications in industry chips, and (c) commercial CAD tools on low-power design. This book discusses the concepts, a set of known methods, industry cases and CAD tools on the low power design. It is organized in four chapters and a glossary is provided at the end of the book.
This volume contains the proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security, held at the Accra Beach Hotel and Resort, Barbados, February 23–26, 2009. Financial Cryptography and Data Security (FC) is a well-established int- national forum for research, advanced development, education, exploration and debate regarding information assurance in the context of ?nance and commerce. The conference covers all aspects of securing transactions and systems. The goal of FC is to bring security and cryptography researchers and pr- titioners together with economists, bankers, and policy makers. This year, we assembled a vibrant program featuring 21 peer-reviewe...

Featuring contributions from leading experts, the book also includes a new section on memory and storage in addition to a new chapter on nonvolatile memory technologies. Developing advanced concepts, this sharply focused book— Describes new technologies that have become driving factors for the electronic industry Includes new information on semiconductor memory circuits, whose development ...
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security, FC 2010, held in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain in January 2010. The 19 revised full papers and 15 revised short papers presented together with 1 panel report and 7 poster papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 130 submissions. The papers cover all aspects of securing transactions and systems and feature current research focusing on both fundamental and applied real-world deployments on all aspects surrounding commerce security.
These proceedings represent the work of researchers participating in the 13th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ICCWS 2018) which is being hosted this year by the National Defense University in Washington DC, USA on 8-9 March 2018.
This new work adds to the theoretical understanding and discussion of possible solutions to various conceptual and practical problems that arise within the field of medical negligence - an area whose legal treatment is perceived, both in England and Germany, as containing a number of special difficulties and shortcomings. In addition it seeks to make a contribution to the developing field of comparative law, by employing a detailed and closely focused analytical approach in a tightly defined subject area. These twin aims serve to reveal the similarities and differences between two legal cultures in a particularly clear and striking way. The book offers an analysis which is neutral as between...
