The Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission was established in 1968 to regulate the Canadian broadcasting system, including radio, television, and cable television. The CRTC is composed of 13 full-time and 6 part-time Commissioners and staff are divided into seven units reporting to the Chairman.
