Peter Gunnarson Rambo, son of Gunnar Petersson, was born in about 1612 in Hisingen, Sweden. He came to America in 1640 and settled in Christiana, New Sweden (now Delaware). He married Brita Mattsdotter 7 April 1647. They had eight children. He died in 1698. HIs daughter, Gertrude Rambo, was born 19 October 1650. She married Anders Bengtsson. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio.

Jacob Feather (1759-1832) and his parents, Christian and Maria Vätter/ Vetter/Fedder/Fetter/Fether/Feather(s) immigrated from Rhineland Pfalz to Philadelphia in 1775. He married Mary Connoly (1769-1860) in Bedford County, Pennsylvania in 1791. Descendants have scattered throughout the United States as well as other countries.

William Vaughan (ca.1750-1838/1840) immigrated (probably from Wales) to Virginia in the early 1770's and married Fereby Benton about 1772. He served in the Revolutionary War, and they later moved to Tennes see, then Missouri, and finally to Arkansas about 1822. Descendants lived chiefly in the midwest, and on the Pacific coast.
