Persecuted but Still Standing

Pastor Charlene Evans Morton has been ostracized, criticized, scandalized, and crucified--not on the cross. Jesus did that, and it is finished. But she has been crucified in public, for her hearts desire to stand on the Word of God. She has been persecuted, but shes still standing for the Lord. Many are the afflictions of the righteous. What an honor to stand for Jesus, when He has stood for me so many times.

I wanted to write this book to help mums-to-be as they prepare for pregnancy, labour, and caring for their new l arrival. With 6 kids, I've learned a few tricks and tips along the way! This book is about sharing some of the knowledge I've gained through my births, providing advice from someone who has been there, This book was written not to 'preach', but instead to share with parents some of the options out there, that are perhaps not as commonly known. I believe every parent should make their own personal choice of what they would like to do. I think that people should be given the opportunity to make the choices that are best for them. Most pregnancy books are written by health professionals and are filled with long words that we don't understand. This book is real and easy to understand, plus it's filled with helpful hints for however you wish to do things. - Charlene

Healing On The Other Side

"Healing On The Other Side" is a memoir about my mother, Viola Evans. Her story is one that many people may relate to themselves, or know of someone who shares a similar narrative: A loving wife and mother with amazing girlfriends that never met a stranger. A magnet to people because of her infectious personality, laugh, and spirit. This book shares her story of encountering multiple health issues that bring her family and friends to a place of prayer, hope, and healing. But will that healing take place on earth or on the other side? This journey is documented through a series of emails that turned into devotionals and now a book. The uncertainty of life is filled with laughter, tears, fear, hope, and love which are displayed through a journey that has more ups and downs than a rollercoaster ride at an amusement park. A journey that changes the lives of everyone connected to her.

Critical Race Theory in the Academy explores the deep implications of race and its effects on the expanse of the American social fabric and its fragile democratic process. This volume contributes to a more effective, powerful, and insightful theorization of racism across the social spectrum while furthering the movement for greater equity in higher education and beyond. The audience for this book is broad and should be of great interest and value to all Americans who fight against racism which is focused on the destruction of Black people and other people of color. Ideally, educators, scholars, and practitioners will be compelled to engage the ideas within this volume to break down the color...
