Manuscript friendship album, compiled by Charles Fellows between 1820 and 1826. Scrapbook contains watercolors, pencil drawings, manuscript verse, anecdotes, and inlaid items. Content is concentrated in the first half of the album (approximately 67 pages); the remainder of the volume is blank. The "title page" contains a series of watercolor sketches in addition to the following "advertisement": "Wanted: the willing hand of some friendly persons to assist in filling a scrap book, to be composed of verses, anecdotes, songs, proverbs, sayings, riddles, charades, rebuses, enigmas, grotesque and picturesque views of all kinds, curious conversations, tales, maxims, extracts, repartees, witticisms, parodies, oddities, and everything else to afford amusement. Nottingham, C. Fellows, printer, February 1st, 1820."
