This year’s Conference is organized by the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects, which is a non-profit Company with Articles of Association registered in the Chamber of non-profit organizations. This Conference is a continuation of the four International Conferences which were organized by myself during the years 2003, 2009, 2013, and 2015, under the auspices of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, as well as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th International Conference on Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Issues, during the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 in Athens, Greece. The International Conferences of the years 2017-2021 were organized under the Auspices of the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects which is based in Athens, Greece and has links with an International group of Academics. This year’s Conference is organized by the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects, which is a non-profit Company with Articles of Association registered in the Chamber of Non-for- profit organizations. This Conference is a continuation, in a broader sense, of the four International Conferences which were organized by myself during the years 2003, 2009, 2013 and 2015, under the auspices of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and of the 1st International Conference on Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Issues June 29-30, 2017, Athens, organized under the Auspices of the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects. This Conference is focusing on the Emerging New Technologies in every Sector, Financial, Social, Biomedical ,Humanitarian ,Educational and Economic , the influence which they exercise on Management, Education, Economy, Information and Communication, Medicine, Outer Space Research and the dangers and complications in people’s behavior generated from the uncontrollable use of the New Technologies.

Ranking of researchers and scientists in Greece in 2017 according to Google Scholar database
Scope: The classification of researchers and scientists in Greece in a unified list based on the citation impact and dissemination level of their scientific work according to Google Scholar database. Classification criteria: First criterion is h-index. In the case of equal h-index, the following scientometric indicators are used for the classification. The number of total citations, the i10-index, the total impact factor of scientist, the m-index or m-quotient of scientist. The present Conference is the 1st conference in a series of conferences to come with main topic quantitative methods in the social sciences. The purpose of the conference is to present and publish research output of all the Universities and Technological Institutions of Greece and the different nations of the World. Another important purpose is to facilitate the interaction between two worlds: the world of Business and the world of Academic Community. The organizers of this Conference have the ambition to establish a forum for discussions on the theory and applications of the Quantitative and Qualitative Methods in the different business sectors such as Small to Medium Enterprises or large Companies in Industry, Commerce, Tourism, Health, Public Sector, Shipping Industry and financial services. New Approaches Towards the ‘Good Life’
The Capability Approach founded by Armatya Sen and Martha Nussbaum offers a justicebased analytical framework for human development. The contributions to the present volume show how the Capability Approach can be applied productively in empirical analyses of the life situations of young people and the educationalinstitutions they attend in different parts of the world including Serbia, Kosovo, Kenya, India, Greece, and Germany. Moreover, the volume helps to extend the Capability Approach by relating it to different theoretical and methodological approaches such as the capability concept of Paul Ricoeur, critical materialism, critical discourse analysis, and biographical research. Thus, the volume delivers comprehensive insights into the social (in) justices to be found not only on the level of individual life paths but also in institutions and in educational policy while showing innovative ways of applying the Capability Approach in the social sciences.
