The Cirad CD-ROM
This CD-ROM contains the full version of the 2003 CIRAD annual report: results and partnerships, training operations and indicators specified in the contractual agreement, organizational structure and addresses. It also contains the following additional information: a CIRAD directory; publications and theses by CIRAD researchers; the intellectual property charter, a list of patents and a list of development projects; the CIRAD publications catalogue and a list of new publications in 2003; the brochure and quiz produced for the 2004 Paris International Agricultural Fair, on "Feeding towns in the South"; a printable version of CIRAD 2003.

The centre de cooperation internationale en recherche agronomique pourle developpement, CIRAD, is a center for international cooperation in development-oriented agricultural research, with emphasis on tropial and subtropical zones. Its objectives are: to contribute to the defelopment of these regions through research, experiments, training, and information dissemination; to assist national agricultural research systems, at the request of the host countries; to contribute, through an analysis of future scenarios, to the development of policies related to its mandate areas. CIRAD was formed by the ordinance of 5 june, 1984, through the consolidation of agricultural, veterinary, forestry, and food technology reseahch institute speciallizing on the hot regions.
The CIRAD strategic plan
Plano de cooperacao internacional do CIRAD de desenvolvimento da agricultura, principalmente nas regioes tropicais e subtropicais. Fundado em 1984 com suas pesquisas consolidadas em agricultura veterinaria, floresta, tecnologia de alimentos e organizacao de pesquisas em regioes aridas. Tem 11 departamentos.
